It’s with a sense of pride and a touch of reflection that we share some bittersweet news. After an incredible 16-year run as a vibrant, positive voice in our community, our beloved newspaper/news site will soon be embarking on its final journey.

We cannot begin this message without expressing our deepest gratitude to each one of you—our readers, customers, writers, designers, and every soul who contributed to our story. Your unwavering support, passion, and dedication have been the heartbeat of our publication.

Celebrating and sharing the diverse, powerful narratives within the African American community has been an absolute joy. Being the bearers of positive news, championing the successes, and navigating the challenges together has filled our hearts with immense pride.

While this chapter is drawing to a close, let’s not forget that the legacy we’ve built together doesn’t end here. The spirit of unity, empowerment, and community engagement lives on in each of us. There are countless avenues awaiting our contributions, promising new opportunities to make a positive impact.

We’ve chosen a significant date for our final edition: Martin Luther King Day, January 15, 2024. It’s a day that embodies the very essence of hope, equality, and progress—a fitting moment to celebrate the journeys we’ve shared.
