The VSU Center for Entrepreneurship recently celebrated with Joshua McIntosh, the president of our VSU Elite Entrepreneurship Club, for his team being selected as the 2nd Place Winners at the Black Ambition “So Ambitious HBCU Tour – ATL Tour Stop,” April 21-23, 2023, just a week before the Something In The Water Festival!
Black Ambition is a non-profit initiative founded by Virginia native music mogul and entrepreneur, Pharrell Williams. The organization is working to close the opportunity and wealth gap through entrepreneurship by investing capital and resources in high-growth startups founded by Black and Hispanic entrepreneurs. Joshua was invited to participate as an HBCU Innovator at the So Ambitious HBCU Tour that took place between April 21-23, 2023 at the Atlanta Tech Village! The VSU Center for Entrepreneurship awarded him a $1,500 Entrepreneur Pitch Competition/Conference Travel Scholarship so he could attend.
