Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes wrote a book entitled “Year of YES.” She reveals how saying YES changed her life. She had a wake-up call and the challenge of saying yes. So, she began her Year of YES project and agreed to give commencement addresses, taking her health seriously and forcing herself to have difficult conversations about relationships and situations holding her back. It’s an excellent book!
Perhaps you have turned down opportunities to try things like hang gliding, ziplining, bungee jumping, or traveling to the planet’s most remote regions. Maybe you are not adventurous by nature or maybe you had no real reason to say no other than fear.
While traveling, you will be given plenty of opportunities to conquer your fears. You will have a choice whether or not to accept your old self or move on. Why not travel to the ends of the earth to unchartered territories and explore the ideal natural world as never before?
Saying yes to these opportunities can provide a thrill you may not know existed. It is also saying yes to meeting other people. Those other people can lead to great experiences and opportunities if you let them.
If you allow yourself new travel experiences, you will be given experiences that will last a lifetime. They will come home with you. They will help you grow. They will inspire others—all from saying yes to travel.
The new you says yes to travel and adventure!
We want to wish you all a Happy New Year. May it be a fun-filled year for you and your family. We sincerely hope it will be a Year of YES!
