A few of our guests already registered to sail on the Music on the Seas II cruise in November 2023 met up in Washington, DC for a Meet and Greet on Saturday, November 5th. It’s exactly one year from the Music on the Seas II cruise departure date from Miami sailing to the Bahamas, Haiti, Jamaica and Royal Caribbean’s private adventure park on Coco Cay.
It was great meeting everyone. Thank you for attending the Meet & Greet! We are already planning the Bon Voyage party.
The first private event held during the Music on the Seas 2019 cruise was a Tribute to the Funk Show (70s Theme). Everyone dressed up for Fun!
One of the destinations the Music on the Seas group visited in 2019 was Royal Caribbean’s private beach in Haiti. The beach, Labadee, is located along the north coast of Haiti in the Caribbean. Labadee’s beaches are beautiful but feel more real than the overly manicured beaches you find on some private islands. Nevertheless, it’s a lovely way to spend a day at the beach!
Labadee offers five different beaches on either side of the peninsula. The three southern beaches, on the pier side, are located within a sheltered cove with calm. These include the quiet, cabana-lined Nellie’s Beach; and Columbus Cove, the site of the Aqua Park, and water sports rentals.
You can rent cabanas, bungalows, and day beds while on Labadee. This will provide privacy and shade if you need it.
Labadee also offers sports courts, kayaks, and floating mat rentals. If you like shopping while on Labadee, visit the artisan’s village and market.
Lunch is complimentary, and the food is never far away.
If you are looking for a natural setting, want to learn about local culture from nearby people, and enjoy a simple beach day, then Labadee is for you.
