The Richmond Flying Squirrels are honoring the Richmond 34, a group of Virginia Union University students who participated in a sit-in at the lunch counter in Thalhimers department store on February 22, 1960, were refused service, and then arrested. On Friday September 16th sororities from the Divine 9 attended the game as the Richmond 34 were honored.
