A sixty-year-old black man working at Home Depot in Albany, NY was fired after being subjected to a customer’s racist rant. The ten-year employee told a customer in the store with an unleashed dog, that it is preferred that he kept his dog on a leash while in the store. The customer responded by throwing the F-bomb and other expletives and said, “If Trump wasn’t president, you wouldn’t even have a job, you’re from the ghetto, and what do you know?” The employee had endured enough and responded, “You’re lucky I’m at work, because if I wasn’t you wouldn’t be talking to me like this”. Days later the employee was fired but has since been offered his job back.
