Keeping secrets can really bring about unexpected pain. I just read a wonderful book by Trice Hickman that kept me turning the pages till the wee hours of morning, Keeping Secrets and Telling Lies (Platinum Books $15.00). The suspenseful story is about Victoria and Ted, who after six years of marriage, seem to be victors of life. Victoria is a beautiful sister who owns one of Atlanta’s most sought after event planning companies and Ted is a powerful executive. But their seemingly happy life begins to unravel when decades old secrets come back to haunt them.
Author Trice Hickman calls herself “a true Southern girl at heart.” Raised in a small town in eastern North Carolina, she says her love of the written word wouldn’t let her rest until she published her own books. Keeping Secrets and Telling Lies is the sequel to her debut novel, Unexpected Interruptions.
